The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw contest for boys and girls ages 8–13. Three age groups: 8–9, 10–11, and 12–13 with boys and girls competing separately. Free to all participants. Local winners advance to district, state, regional, and national finals. Winners permanently inscribed in the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. Contact SLO Elks Lodge 322 for 2026 contest date.
